Olivia and Harrison’s wedding was destined to be magical from the very start. After an enchanting engagement proposal outside Cinderella’s Castle in the Magic Kingdom, Florida, the wedding was always going to be something out of a fairytale. Olivia and Harrison’s wedding took place at Mottram Hall, a beautiful country house located in idyllic Cheshire on 8th July 2017.
On the big day, Olivia and her bridesmaids had their make-up and hairstyles completed in one of Mottram Hall’s luxurious hotel suites. They all looked amazing wearing matching pink dressing gowns and enjoying the glamorous treatment.
Olivia wore a dress fit for a princess by Designer Maggie Sottero and purchased from Confetti Box in Eccles. It was the first dress Olivia tried on, she fell instantly in love with and knew it was the one. Her dress was fitted to the hips, the bodice covered in alluring jewels and delicate lace. The silhouette of the dress then cascaded into a beautiful princess style skirt, which was finished off with a mesmeric train. The dress was just like the one she dreamed of having when she was a little girl.
Olivia chose a bouquet of white artificial roses for herself and her bridesmaids. They were designed by Alison at Lasting Memories who finished them off with enchanting jewels, matching perfectly to Olivia’s princess dress. The Bridesmaids wore gorgeous dusky pink dresses, their bodices were graced with the most delicate of lace. They all looked truly beautiful.
Harrison wore a tailor-made blue checked suit which he has designed himself at Whitfield and Ward in Cheshire. The suit was embroidered with their names and the date of the wedding, which was such a touching addition.
Both the ceremony and reception took place in Mottram Hall. The colour theme was based upon a neutral palette and lent itself perfectly to the charming nature of the interior. This was beautifully matched with whimsical Disney themed decor.
Every aspect of the day was beautifully thought out. During the ceremony, Olivia and Harrison decided to have an owl ring bearer! This really added to the fairytale-like nature of their gorgeous wedding day. Their vows were taken under a breathtaking arch of bespoke white roses, the epitome of romance.
The evening reception was both romantic and fun. The guests were filled with nostalgia as they were surrounded by the most elegant Disney decor. The cake was stunning, set with white rose icing and twinkling jewels. It was finished with Micky Mouse details and a plaque reading ‘And they all lived happily ever after.” The cake was made by the talented team at Icing on the Cake in Marple.
The Guests were accompanied by Singalong Waiters, a Candy Cart, Photo Booth and of course, a white sparkly dance floor – fit for a princess! The red rose in the glass jar in reference to Beauty and the Beast and the very fitting ‘Be Our Guest’ wooden table decorations all added to the beautiful, magical feeling of Olivia and Harrison’s special day.
And they all lived happily ever after…The End.
