Peak Edge Hotel Wedding Photography – Becky and Mark
So it turns out that Mark didn’t actually ask Becky to marry him – and Becky hasn’t ever said yes! Luckily these two are on the same wavelength so when Mark wrapped up an engagement ring for Becky’s birthday he (and their little girl Reva) were pretty confident that she’d be overjoyed. It turns out she was so surprised that Mark didn’t get chance to pop the question but their mutual happy tears were all the confirmation needed that a wedding was going to happen!
Weddings at the Peak Edge Hotel
The Peak Edge Hotel is a gorgeous boutique hotel in the Peak District. The rustic stone building perfectly complements its beautiful surroundings and as soon as Mark and Becky set eyes on it they knew it was the perfect place for them. Becky spent the morning at the hotel, being pampered along with her bridesmaids and Reva. She looked stunning in her MGNY fishtail dress and I adore the moment her Dad saw her. His facial expressions perfectly sum up how overwhelmed and proud he was.
Mark arrived at the Peak Edge in style, sweeping up the drive in a Mercedes. Then it was time for the ceremony. Little Reva nearly stole the show as she ran excitedly up the aisle towards her Dad, who greeted her with the most enormous hug. It turns out that was just the first super emotional moment during their ceremony. From a few tears as Becky’s Dad escorted her up the aisle to some tear jerking vows I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room by the time they were pronounced husband and wife!
Peak Edge Hotel wedding reception
I love how elegantly they had decorated the hotel’s orangery, where their wedding breakfast was held. Becky and Mark had opted for simple, yet romantic white and grey decor. It looked so classy and I just adored their 4 tier cake by Wendy’s House of Cakes. It tasted just as good as it looked too! Becky and Mark rounded the evening off with sparklers and fireworks, it truly was a day to remember!
The Peak Edge Hotel is a venue that I get the pleasure of shooting at several times a year and it’s always a pleasure to return!
